Our client, a Middle Georgia Speciality Practice, is seeking a Billing Office Manager for their Macon, GA location.  The successful  Candidate must have proven successful management experience and a thorough knowledge of coding, claims submission, payment posting, appeals and denials. Must be a go-getter who takes initiative; has the the ability to multi-task and set and maintain goals. Duties include: Overseeing and assisting the billing office staff with daily medical billing operations;  managing the work flow and billing office personnel; compiling and submiting A/R analytical reports monthly; providing trending profiles to management that reflects the summary of the billing revenue; reviewing exception reports payment posting and claims rejections;  creating, implementing and provideing solutions to correct errors and monitoring. Updating fee schedules maintaining RVUs and contracted allowed fees. Must have great customer service skills to communicate effectively with facilities/clients pertinent information required to facilitate billing and collections as well as problem solve as situations arise.  Will evaluate employees' performance with required responsibilities. The Successful candidate must be CPC certified and have at least 3-5 years experience in the management of a medical billing office setting. Business degree, Healthcare Administration Degree or Health Sciences Degree  or at least five years of equivalent supervisory medical billing experience in an outpatient practice setting is required. Electronic Medical Records system  and particularly  eCW experience a plus.  This company offers competitive pay based on experience in the $55k - $70k range as well as an excellent benefit package.

Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

Receive and resolve customer requests via phone and email
Proactively contact clients to "check-in" to review and update contact information
Generate and send maintenance renewal quotes as requested
Close issues when resolved and follow up with clients
Provide copies of invoices and maintenance / purchase breakdown as requested
Work closely with Recurring Revenue Account Manager in regard to account updates and quote requests
Work with Billing and Marketing departments and provide account updates as requested
Talk with customers regarding the advantages of having a current maintenance contract

the Client Document Service Worker's duties include:  Estimate, schedule and track incoming production jobs. Track and store jobs as customer requires for reuse at a future date, including file back-up. Operate high volume folding and inserting mail equipment.
