SPECIAL ASSETS MANAGERLocal Community Bank is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Special Assets/Workout Officer to manage and liquidate a portfolio of problem loans. These loans consist primarily of residential developer and builder loans and commercial real estate, and range in size from $500K to $10mil.Specific requirements include:-- 7+ years of workout, foreclosure and liquidation of OREO experience-- Strong commercial credit; financial/analytical, & collateral/assessment capabilities-- Knowledge of bankruptcy law and issues, related party(owners/guarantors), & related compliance issues-- Ability to convey, pursue and protect bank's interests in a professional manner-- Select and direct outside counsel-- Adhere to bank's credit policies, maintain required documents; clear exceptions, monitor covenant compliance, recommend risk rating changes, loan loss recognition and accrual status
