Sr. Technical Writer is responsible either individually or with other team members for the writing of major portions of publication revisions, its contents, and business processes. Supports the complete workflow process to ensure successful completion of each revision cycle and distribution to technical publications. Essential Functions:
1. Consults with internal, external customers and Engineering to identify current materials necessary to create/revise technical manuals to support the department/corporate operating priorities. Provide input to management on new processes or technology for integration into the Technical Publication business model. Develops complex solutions to overcoming the technology/technical issues introduced by outside suppliers for incorporation into existing manuals.
2. Conducts, reviews, analyzes, technical documents required to gain a thorough understanding of how complex systems operate and are required to be integrated into technical manuals.
3. Oversees the daily operation of the internal department workflow and business process affecting the project/revision cycle. Ensures that all workflow and business processes are followed for issues relating to producing and delivering technical publications and the Computerized Maintenance Program (CMP).
4. Works with management, other departments, and team members in the development of specific project data for incorporation into the publications environment.
5. Provides liaison with Technical Operations, Completion Center, Technical Operations, Production and/or Completion Engineering, Service Center to obtain the necessary approval for technical information prior to it release to customers.
6. Provides input to management on the development of complex new processes and workflow solutions to decrease department costs and or new products to increase department revenue.

The Position
The Product Engineer will provide product and application development for extrusion coated films used for construction markets including roof underlayment, erosion control and housewrap. The Product Engineer, reporting to the Engineering Manager, will become the product expert. The Product Engineer will drive product modifications and line extensions to meet customer needs or resolve issues. The Product Engineer will serve as the voice of the customer.
Candidate Qualifications
Qualified candidates must have a bachelor’s degree (engineering preferred) and 5+ years of product development or application engineering experience. Experience with extrusion coating processes is a must. Additional qualifications include:

Responsible for system design, development and implementation plans for wireless data core network elements (e.g. AAA, PDSN, HA/FA, MME, SGW, PGW, etc.). Includes gathering requirements and developing detailed design documents for interfaces between the data core network elements, OSS/BSS systems, and a variety of mobile value added service (VAS) solutions spanning a variety of Cox owned and or ASP hosted service platforms.
